SENIOR POSITION AVAILABLE AT THE NICU - SOUTH PARIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS

A senior fellow neonatologist position is available at the South Paris University Hospitals, Medical center "A. Beclere".
There are 30 beds at NICU and the number of deliveries is about 3500 a year.
You will have an opportunity to work in a very dynamic and young environment, where many active research protocols and collaborations are performed within ESPR and ESPNIC. It is primarily a referral center for respiratory diseases, congenital heart diseases, neonatal hypothermia and prematurity.
All modern monitoring (NIRS, electrical cardiometry) and ventilations (NHFOV, NAVA) are available at the unit. You can also have a chance to do transportation with a particular team (please note this is not mandatory). There is an opportunity to be involved in research programs and teaching activities for residents and congresses. Work schedule requires 5-6 shifts per month. Housing facilities are obtainable and hospital can be easily reached by tram (50% expenses paid by the hospital administration).

JOB OFFER AT THE PICU-NICU TRANSPORTATION TEAM SOUTH PARIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS

We have a vacancy for a young consultant to support the transportation team of critically ill neonates and children (up to 6 years),
around 1800 transfers / year. Nice location with fully equipped environment. Very recent ambulances fully equipped: HFOV, NIRS, TC, NO and electrical cardiometry available in mobile PICU-NICUs.
Dynamic team including nurses and residents; opportunity to socialize and to participate to clinical research with both the transportation and NICU teams.
Salary as per young consultant degree in France and possibility to be increased with the shifts or collaborating with the NICU team
Experience in both pediatric and neonatal critical care is required.
French proficiency is a plus.

We are recruiting an assistant for the neonatal team in charge of the delivery room and nursery in an academic referral 3rd level center.
4000 deliveries/year, high risk pregnancies, congenital cardiopathies with interventional cardiology in the DR. Referral center for respiratory failure, neonatal hypothermia and rare diseases.
A very young and dynamic team with many ongoing projects.
Actual participation to international multi center trials and possibility to participate in clinical and translational research.
Possibility to participate to ESPR activities.
Around 5 shifts/months. Possibility to participate in the NICU or transportation activities.
Experience in high risk delivery room or NICU care required, as well as dynamism and team work.  MD and Pediatric specialty obtained in a EU country are required.

Hospital with structures recently renovated in southern Paris outskirts, well connected with tram and metro networks.
Travel expenses (metro-tram) to get to the hospital will be paid 50% by the hospital.

The Neonatology Department at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden is offering positions for dedicated neonatologists and interested residents/fellows in pediatrics/neonatology. It is a one of Europe's largest regional centers with 30,000 deliveries and has 72 beds. We provide highly specialized neonatal intensive care requiring teamwork with the prenatal unit, pediatric specialties, a PICU unit and an ECMO unit. Karolinska is a national center for neonatal surgical, cardiac, metabolic and neurological complications. We also provide a full time transport team for national and international transports. The department also provides care for all other neonatology levels.
Our philosophy is to provide family centered care and we have a NIDCAP Training Center. Our units are modern and provide the possibility for families to be present on the units with their infants. The New Karolinska Solna unit will also be opening September 2016. We have very active experimental, clinical and epidemiological research with many international projects. Clinical teaching and pedagogic issues are a strong priority in all three of our sites: Danderyd, Huddinge and Solna. The faculty is a multicultural group. We provide Swedish language lessons if necessary.

RESIDENTSHIP IN NEONATOLOGY AT SOUTH PARIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
>Are you looking for an intensive residentship in neonatal critical care including clinical and research activities?

The South Paris University Hospital, "A.Beclere"  Medical Centre offers a place as resident for 6-12 months starting from November 2015. It is a 3rd level NICU, referral centre for respiratory and neurological conditions, 28 fully equipped beds +12 of intermediate care. The structure is equipped  with all new technologies  (NAVA, NIRS, electrical cardiometry, aEEG, whole body hypothermia) and has a strong collaboration with the PICU (ECMO centre) and also a transportation system onsite (referral centre for about 18000 deliveries). The environment is very young and dynamic, several research projects are ongoing and every resident will have the possibility to work on a project.

Duties include 4-5 shifts/monthly, theoretical and practical lessons with simulations. Possibility to do also transportation and delivery room.

Salary is about 1800 Euro/monthly (depending on the number of shifts), housing available within the hospital and university facilities at a low price.
